One final thought. While most set ups you encounter will be defensive, if you like live kills (your intended victim is online) you're going to run into hunting sets heavy on armor. In that case you're going to need damage, quite a lot of it in some cases.

Speaking from personal experience, I've found that the right combination of attack gear (there are some impressive stats on common drops) and buffs will allow you to crack defensive sets up to 200 levels above you. Very useful on the BB. Having all points in Damage doesn't limit your ability to enjoy other aspects of the game and I'd like to point out that I'm NOT a power leveler, I Do have all level up points in damage, and I can take out people at will on the BB with a little preparation and forethought. Placing my points as I have has not only allowed me to be an effective hunter (leveler) but has also allowed me to enjoy the challenges of solo hunting Elites and lower level Super Elites. Certainly if you're planning on making PvP your game career of choice, you may want to weight the benefits of spreading around your level up points more evenly in order to makes buffs such as Evade and Aura of Protection effective. Even so, I wouldn't recommend placing the majority of your points into attack with all the excellent attack gear available.

Understand how the buffs work, know your gear (use the calculators if necessary), be clear in what you're trying to accomplish, speak with other longtime PvPers and bounty hunters (Stangvalle, Moonfrost, Bleltch and Badpenny all come to mind as excellent resources), then assign your level up points accordingly. Keep in mind you may not wish to PvP anymore at some point and that a reset is costly.

Oh my….lol. ATT is ESSENTAIL to the pvper or Bounty Hunter. The mere mention that ATT points are worthless brings a tear to my eye. If I may- ALL damage is nessecary for POWER LEVELRS, no aruguement there, HOWEVER if one LONGS for the thrill of PVP or Bounty Hunting, you WILL quickly learn the importance of ATT! It is ESSENTIAL in the defeat of a DEF setup. ALL the damage in the WHOLE game of FS won't mean squat if you can not HIT what you are attempting to ATTACK. Again I want to stress, IF YOUR POWER LEVELING GO ALL DAMAGE, if you WISH TO PURSUE other aspects of FS, THINK about ATT. it will prove quite handy when building sets.

IMHO the Giant Wood Wasp is as good as the tree lurker. For both I received the same range of XP. So I suggest adding it to this guide.

Oh, it's the beginning of a whole lot of things, and what a wonderful story. It's beautifully written and told and I can't wait to meet the little hatchlings in Guild Chat too.

Thank you for taking the time to write this up, and I'm looking forward to many more Wingyann stories :)

I figure there are a couple of things to add - one is if there are critters on the level that benefit from specialized buffs / enhancements like HF (ie. undead critters)

… and if the level is an SE or Elite spawn zone, that could be thrown in as well.

… that is discussing the page "Discussing Wiki Pages"

Just a simple test.
